A host of learning and training opportunities are open to the winners of this year’s Women’s Leadership Training Grant. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 6. Sponsored by the SVS Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the grant program is designed to develop strong women leaders in vascular surgery who will demonstrate the outstanding accomplishments and personal qualities of surgeons recognized by SVS for lifetime achievements. Applicants should have demonstrated leadership in SVS or other vascular societies, contributed to vascular education, science or research, and have made other contributions to the field.
Awards of $5,000 are given annually to recipients in three categories: 0-5 years out of training; 6-10 years and more than 10 years out of training. Learn more here.
