Apply by Jan. 29 for VAM Student Scholarships

Medical students and surgical residents can apply for travel scholarships to defray costs of attending the 2016 Vascular Annual Meeting. Two scholarships are available: one for general surgery residents or medical students and one for a medical student who falls into a diversity demographic. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, CST.

An educational and networking program for fellows, residents and students will be open June 8-11 and includes an open and endovascular simulation training workshop, mentor program, mock interview session and residency fair.

The program seeks to let residents and students explore their interest in vascular surgery. It provides an excellent opportunity for learners of all levels (first-year medical students to senior-level surgical residents to vascular surgery trainees) to meet others with similar interests and also provides students and residents with the valuable opportunity to meet members and leaders of the vascular surgical community.
